We are very happy to announce that director and choreographer Ran Arthur Braun won Best Director Award 2015 on prestigious Jan Kiepura Polish Theatre Award competition. Braun won the award for stage director and coreography work of L’Enfant et Sortilege and Rossignol – Teater Wielki Poznan opera and ballet production.
The following speech was given on the ceremony by the winner of the award:
“Hallo? Snail? is that you? Good that you have answered the phone, so fast! Listen……I am supposed to collect the award tonight, but I have premiere of Peter Pan, right now in United Kingdom! As I can not Teletransport my self…… please thank The The Great Theater of Poznan and the Jury! and Congratulate all the Winners! Take the award, smile, wave and Run Home! ”

Ran Arhtur Braun has been director of several productions in Birgitta Festival. On this year we are happy to have him as the director of Birgitta Festival opening oratorio production by Joseph Haydn „Creation“. The production takes place on the 7th of August 2015.
