This evening’s programme brings to you the finest from Estonian and world film music, lots of joy of recognition and also surprises. The emotions people left cinemas with lasted longer largely thanks to music. Everybody can recognize the James Bond theme from the first notes, Chaplin’s “Smile” from the film “Modern Times” was Michael Jackson’s favourite song, for all Estonians, “Majakene mere ääres” (“A House by the Sea”), conjures up the comic images from the film “Siin me oleme” (“Here We Are”). Some films have become famous due to their music and some songs due to the films they were in.
