Siim Aimla is one of the busiest musicians in Estonia. A top saxophonist, he has time to head the Estonian Dream Big Band, produce arrangements, write music and tutor students at the Georg Ots Tallinn Music School. As a bandleader, Siim knows well how to bring a spark to musicians’ eyes.

Groove Clinic consists of four young jazz musicians, whose heart beats for the groove. Their ideal sound borders on the John Scofield and Pat Methen ensembles. This is also evident in their music, all written by themselves. The programme features youthfully mature jazz, with more experienced notes added by saxophonist Siim Aimla. Siim also reads poetry by his father, Priit Aimla, and others.
